FARMERS’ MARKET UPDATE, JUNE 28, 2010

NEW SUMMER HOURS

Due to the hot summer months and many requests, the Winnsboro Farmers’ Market will now open at 8am every Saturday.  The vendors are usually sold out within a couple of hours and with the earlier opening time we will probably be closing between 11:00 am and 11:30 am.

Come out early to get the best selection of locally grown fresh farm produce, dairy products, jams/jellies and lots more.  Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Purple Hull Peas, Plums, Squash, Bell Peppers, Onions, Blueberries, and Blackberries are only a few of the items now available at the Farmers’ Market.

We look forward to seeing you under the covered Jack Cross Pavilion at City Park. Come and enjoy the “Tastes of Summer”.
